In the simplest of terms, Fastpitch is a style of softball. Fastpitch softball is the most common version of competitive softball in high school and collegiate athletics in which the pitcher's arm rotates a full 360 degrees when delivering the ball to the batter.
The game of fastpitch differs from baseball in a number of ways including the use of a larger 12-inch yellow ball and play on a field with 60 foot base paths, a flattened pitching circle and a fence approximately 200 feet from home.
The game of fastpitch softball is fast-paced and action packed. We know you will love it as much as we do, so take the family or some friends and head on out to a fastpitch game near you and see what you have been missing!
